LaMain Voyage I works Komodo year round from Labuan Bajo, and unusually for this fleet she is sold both ways: by the cabin on shared departures and as a whole-boat charter. Trips run two, three or four days. The two-night version covers the core of the park, Padar, Pink Beach, Manta Point at Karang Makassar and the ranger trek, while the longer itineraries add Siaba Besar, Taka Makassar and time in the northern anchorages. Park entrance and ranger fees are not in the price.
Suits: travellers who want a real phinisi without a charter-yacht budget, and small groups who would rather book two cabins on a shared departure than pay for a whole boat. At 34 metres with six ensuite cabins she sits between the budget open-trip boats and the forty-metre charter yachts, and she is one of the few vessels here where a solo traveller or a couple can actually get on board.
Less suited to: divers and guests expecting charter-yacht service. There is no dive guide, no Nitrox and no compressor, and the crew of eight for up to sixteen guests is a working ratio rather than a hospitality one. Private charter is quoted for up to twelve guests, with a surcharge beyond that.
LaMain Voyage I is a 34.39-metre phinisi built in 2020 for year-round Komodo cruises from Labuan Bajo. The vessel has six air-conditioned ensuite cabins for up to 16 guests.
Paris is the main-deck master cabin with a private balcony and jacuzzi. Athena and Osaka are deluxe cabins that can each take a third guest on an extra bed. Praha and Venice are two lower-deck superior cabins, while Bern is a four-guest sharing cabin.
Published specifications list ironwood and teak construction, a Mitsubishi 8DC9 main engine, a cruising speed of 10–12 knots, a Yamaha 40 HP dinghy, 8,000 litres of fresh-water capacity and eight crew including the cruise director. Navigation and safety equipment include GPS, VHF and SSB radios, a compass, life raft, life jackets, fire extinguishers and first aid.
LaMain Voyage I offers both open trips and private charters. The current 3D2N open-trip rate starts from IDR 6.5 million per person for Bern (about $365). Private charter starts from IDR 80 million (about $4,470) for a full-day trip. Shared-trip cabin prices rise through the superior, deluxe and Paris master categories.
Main-deck master cabin with queen bed, ensuite bathroom, private balcony and private jacuzzi; maximum two guests.
Athena deluxe cabin with queen bed, ensuite bathroom and optional extra single bed for a third guest.
Osaka deluxe cabin with queen bed, ensuite bathroom and optional extra single bed for a third guest.
Two lower-deck superior cabins named Praha and Venice, each with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom.
Private charter from IDR 120,000,000 for 3D2N (1 to 12 guests), quoted per group. USD figures on this page are converted at roughly IDR 17,900 to the dollar (late July 2026) and will drift with the exchange rate — the operator quotes in rupiah. Park entrance and ranger fees are paid separately on arrival and vary by nationality and by weekday versus weekend. Shared departures are sold per cabin, from IDR 6,500,000 per person in Bern up to IDR 13,000,000 in the Paris master cabin.
